The company offers a wide range of gabion products, including gabion baskets, gabion fences, gabion walls and gabion accessories, and sells them throughout Europe.

Increase traffic & inquiries

Although Gabiona holds a market-leading position in the European region, the sale of goods in other countries outside the home market of Germany is proving difficult. There are limited internal resources for developing a multilingual website. Shipping from Germany to various European countries takes longer and is more expensive than what users expect today. Trusted Shops was only implemented in the home market, and offers to promote sales were only available in Germany. To drive sales and increase average order value, it was essential that our multilingual Google Ads strategy worked flawlessly.

The solution

A new website & keyword structure

Our approach with Gabiona over the past few years has been to work closely with their product offering and target audience to understand their target consumer and address them with various actions along the user journey.

Google Shopping was our primary sales channel. We have used a number of Google Shopping products over the years. Our work focused mainly on smart shopping. We worked closely with the brand to identify key product lines and opportunities to ensure we were using the budget effectively. To maximize efficiency, we also conducted market research to identify key growth areas and product segmentation to enable targeted bidding.

Thanks to dynamic remarketing, we can target users who have already visited certain products or areas of the website. With the help of an effective dynamic remarketing strategy, we can gently guide these users back into the conversion funnel, creating more touch points, especially for those individuals who are still in the consideration phase.

To make the most of display remarketing, we created effective customer lists in Google Analytics and took an in-depth look at our market research and user behavior. This allowed us to better understand the user journey and place display remarketing at key points along that journey. The goal was to create more user touchpoints, ensuring that potential customers stay in the user journey for as long as possible.
